It's been a long time since I've talked to any of my former classmates. I was married on August 14, 1961 (10th grade) to Donald Whitson. I graduated in June of 1963 and (after 3 years of marriage) my one and only child, Carole Marcelle Whitson, was born on June 16, 1964! What a pleasure she has been all her life! Donald & I divorced after 9 years and I remarried - a Princess Anne graduate! Oh NO! - on September 12, 1970. We divorced in 1979 - no children - and I married a guy from California in 1980! We lived in San Diego and then "moved" to Berlin, West Germany from October of 1980 'til October 1981. Work related.. an...Expand for more
d yes, "the wall" was still up then! Then it was back to San Diego where Carole graduated from Valhalla High School! She had been in a German/American school in Berlin and got very good with the language. By the time she graduated, she had had 3 years of Spanish and a year of German. In 1984, my husband's job brought us here to Texas. I was employed at Texas Instruments. We've been here ever since. Carole moved here from San Diego in 1995 and bought a home and is 5 minutes from us! She does contract work for Texas Instruments (quite a coincidence) and has started her own business - VirtualComputerServices - and loves it! I continue to do Unix SysAdmin for Raytheon now (the defence segment of TI was bought by them a couple of years ago). Carole and I go back to Virginia once in a while to visit my Sister and other relatives. I guess that's about it. What have you all been up to?? PAZ, Brinda Update: Carole had her son, Tyler Morgan Whitson January 27, 2004! He's a beautiful child, inside and out! We are ALL so blessed that he came into our lives! I Love being a Nana! Update from March 2011: I retired!!
